Gülistan: What is your full name?

Annina: Annina Grazia Kull.

 

Secil: How old are you?

Annina: I’m 17 years old.

 

Stephanie: Where do you come from?

I come from America. I live in Connecticut.

 

Stephanie: What do you like best about Connecticut?

Annina: I like the fact that we’re on the water so we can go to the beach.    

 

Secil: What sights are there in your hometown?

Annina: Nothing to big. We have one museum. Usually when people come they go to our High School because our High School is really big.

 

Kevin: How many students are at your school?

Annina: 3000.

 

Angelique: What’s the biggest difference between your school at home and our school?                                                                                                                                     

Annina: The size of the school and the teacher-student-relationship.

 

Suzan: Do you miss your family?                                                                                       

Annina: Yes, a lot.

 

Ramona: Do you have any siblings?

Annina: Yes, I have one brother, he’s 23 and my sister is 21.

 

Geneleen: Does your family write letters or emails to you?                                   

Annina: They write emails and they call a lot.

 

Adriana: Do you have a boyfriend at home?

Annina: No, I don’t.

Mulla: What do you like about Germany?

Annina: Well, I was lucky I was placed in Berlin and I love that it’s a city. I love the culture here. I think the people are very nice and you have a little bit more freedom in Germany. The food is really good as well!

 

Marvin: What’s your favourite German city?

Annina: Berlin!

 

Christoph: What do you like best about Berlin?

Annina: I like the sight-seeing. The different things in Berlin that you can go to on a daily basis like the “Brandenburger Tor” and the “Fernsehturm” - I’m still amazed by it.

 

Kevin: What’s your favourite German food?

Annina: Schnitzel.

 

Jennifer: What is your favourite American food?

Annina: That’s a hard one! I think a hot dog and fries.                                                                                                   

 

Angelique: Do you like your host family?

Annina: I love my host family! They’re my third but they are the best!

 

Mandy: Do you have any host brothers or sisters and how old are they?

Annina: I have two host brothers. They are 19 and 17.

 

Sarah: Do you have fun with the host family?

Annina: Yes, a lot. We go to football games together. The boys play for Alba Berlin.

 

Saskia: Does your host family live in a house or in a flat?

Annina: In a house.

 

Mandy: Do you have your own room at your host families house?                                                      

Annina: Yes, I do.

 

Sarah: Do you have any responsibilities at your host family’s house?                                                

Annina: Yes, I have to make sure that my room is clean. Sometimes, I have to clean out the dish washer and we go food shopping together.

 

Jan-Niklas: Do you have any hobbies?

Annina: I dance and I like to read. And in winter I like to snowboard.

 

Björn: What is your favourite sport?

Annina: Dancing.

Justin: Do you like German music?

Annina: Yes, I like Peter Fox and Culcha Candela.

 

Slavik: Which other languages do you speak?

Annina: I speak English, German and Spanish.

 

Justin: Do you want to do anything special before you leave the Germany?

Annina: I think to enjoy the rest of my time here.
